Hawes, one of the highest Market Town in England set 850 feet above sea level, was first recorded as a market place in 1307. The name Hawes means a ‘pass between mountains' and it stands between the stunning Buttertubs and Fleet Moss. Places of interest include the Wensleydale Creamery, Dales Countryside Museum, Hardraw Force and many more.

Looking across to the high ground of Stags Fell, Crosby House offers limited private off-street parking, secure storage for cycles and motorcycles - by prior arrangement.
